PerfectPanel announced it will retire the first version of its Admin API by the end of September. Over recent months, the company has been moving all methods from the original Admin API to Admin API v2. According to PerfectPanel, once this migration is complete, panel owners will have a single, unified, and upgraded version to work with. The change consolidates administrative API usage onto v2 and establishes a clear cutoff for any remaining reliance on the first version across panels powered by PerfectPanel’s infrastructure.

This update means panel owners using PerfectPanel will now operate solely on Admin API v2. In practical terms, any integrations or scripts that reference the first version need to be switched to v2 ahead of the deadline so operations continue on the unified API. According to PerfectPanel, all methods from the initial release are already available in v2, positioning teams to complete the transition. Clients can expect panels to continue operating normally as owners finalize the switch before the end-of-September retirement. PerfectPanel also encouraged users who are still on the first version to begin working only with Admin API v2 now to align with the upcoming change.
